About
The Blindside Test is a daily international rugby quiz for supporters who remember the scoreline, not just the result. Twenty questions a day, the same twenty for everyone, drawn from a bank covering the Rugby World Cup, the Six Nations, the Rugby Championship, Lions tours and the deeper corners of the record books.
How the scoring works
- A correct answer is a try — five points.
- Answer inside seven seconds and you land the conversion — two more.
- A perfect fixture is 140.
- Ref’s Call removes two wrong answers, once per fixture.
- TMO Review skips a question and scores nothing, once per fixture.
Sudden Death runs until you get one wrong, and the clock tightens with every question you survive.
Where the questions come from
Every question is checked against published reporting or official records before it goes into the bank — World Rugby, national unions, tournament organisers and contemporaneous match reports. Records move, so the bank is reviewed when they do. If you spot something that has gone stale or was wrong to begin with, tell us and it gets fixed.
